Overview
Production orders and their released stages must be tracked by the production manager.
If any deviations or issues arise within the process, the production manager initiates tasks and actions for respective teams. For example, the manager might need to update the production schedule or escalate issues to the production planning team.
Events that initiate the schedule adjustment must be identified and monitored regularly.

How to review production order states and stages
1. Go to Manufacturing and click Production order queue management under Production scheduling and controlling.
2. In the Requested release date filter, specify a production date.
3. Review the list of production orders that are overdue or on schedule. Review issue statuses that are indicated with icons, so that they can be located easily (see the legend).
4. Select an order that is in progress and click Stage dispatching.
5. Go to Manufacturing and click Stage dispatching under Production scheduling and controlling.
6. Review the list of production stages sorted by number and listed based on the BOM structure.
7. Sort the stages by Start date or End date to see the sequence. Review progress and issue statuses that are indicated with icons, so that they can be located easily (see the legend).
8. Filter the list using the panel on the right side.
Progress statuses:
- Ready to release
- Awaiting predecessors
- Ready to start (production)
- Ready to complete
- Completed
Issue statuses:
- Scheduling is required. Shows the list of production stages that require rescheduling.
- Supply is required. Shows the list of production stages for which production supply issues must be solved.
- Assignment of operation is required. Shows the list of production operations that must be assigned to an employee.
- Allocation by operations is required.
- Overdue. Shows the list of delayed production stages.
- On critical path. Shows the list of production stages that require more attention to the schedule to avoid disrupting the production order schedule.
- Delay the order. Shows the list of production stages that could improve the production order schedule. This requires emergency actions from the production dispatcher to solve the issue related to the lack of resources.
9. Go to Manufacturing and click Production order queue management under Production scheduling and controlling.
10. Select an order in progress and click Order structure.
11. In the Order structure window:
- Expand the tree and review the structure of the stages.
- In the Sequence column, review the sequence of steps.
- In the Quantity column, analyze the production performance based on the quantity of the product in Plan, Actual, Canceled, and Shortage.
- In the Date by schedule and Execution date columns, analyze the actual delay or early execution.

Finding the right stages for effective problem solving
1. Go to Manufacturing and click Stage dispatching under Production scheduling and controlling.
2. Select the On critical path and Delay the order check boxes.
- The On critical path stage requires more attention to the schedule to avoid disrupting the production order schedule.
- The Delay the order stage requires emergency actions from the production dispatcher to solve the issue related to the lack of resources.
3. To improve the production order schedule, solve the issues for the list of the displayed stages.
How to initiate rescheduling
1. Create a Duty for the manager responsible for creating the production schedule to recalculate the new production schedule at an enterprise level.

How to close production orders
1. The system will automatically close the Production order as soon as all production stages are completed.
2. To do it manually:
- Go to Manufacturing and click Production order queue management under Production scheduling and controlling.
- Select the Production completed check box (all goods are produced as required).
- Select a production order, click Actions, and select Close order.
- The system will perform a check. If there are any goods that must be produced, the system will block the closing procedure and display a notification.
