Overview

The process takes place after performing all physical production operations. It can be applied to the completed production stage.

This process is used to conclusively record quantity of goods produced, used resources, performed activities, and specified order completion dates.

Within the process, confirmation can influence production planning by reducing planned production quantities, reducing the capacity of work centers, adjusting dependent requirements for materials, and other.

As a result of the process, the production stage is confirmed.

Financial closure will take place later in month-end closing procedures. This process includes automatic generation of monthly worksheets for actual hours worked during the production stage.
