Overview
This process covers monitoring requirements to move materials from the supply warehouse to the storage area at the production shop floor. The requirement is analyzed with a reference to a specific production stage.
The process involves assessing requirements for supplying shop floor stockrooms based on these production stages.
As a result of this process, the requirements for production supply from the warehouse are assessed.

How to assess requirements for production supply
1. Go to Manufacturing and then click Order supply forecast in the upper left corner.
2. To open a custom filter menu, click More actions - Configure list.
3. Add a new filter for the Shipment order item and select a list of Production stages.
4. Click Finish editing to apply the filters.
5. Review the list of Production stages awaiting material Items on the Requested shipment date.
6. Find the shop floor stockroom supplying the Production stage in the Warehouse column.
7. Review the State column.
Note
State values:
- Supplied at warehouse. Items are in stock now.
- Supplied by date. Items will be available under a confirmed purchase or production order.
- Expected based on unconfirmed order. Items will be available under a placed but unconfirmed purchase or production order.
- Supply. It is required to place a purchase order.
8. Add a new filter for the State item and select the Supply value.
9. Click Finish editing to apply the filters.
10. Review the list of Items that require supply.
