Overview
To initiate repair/corrective maintenance, the company registers repair/maintenance requests, identifies the assets and sub-assets to repair/maintain, and records the details.
A repair/corrective maintenance request is entered into the system by the person responsible for maintaining that asset.
A repair/corrective maintenance request can be created from a mobile and portable device to read asset and sub-asset IDs.
As a result of this process, a repair/corrective maintenance request is created and becomes available for evaluation and approval.

How to create repair/corrective maintenance requests
1. Go to Assets management and then click R&M documents under Repair and maintenance.
2. Click Create → Repair and maintenance request.
3. In the Repair and maintenance request document, select an Asset, a Company, and a Business unit the asset belongs to.
4. Specify failure details in the Subject field.
5. Select the Problem category relevant to the repair/corrective maintenance.
6. Click the Defective sub-assets tab.
7. Scan a sub-asset ID to add a new line with the defective sub-asset.
8. Specify the Detailed description to localize the issue.
9. Click the Details tab.
10. Specify the overall Detailed description of the issue.
12. Click the Attachments hyperlink and attach relevant files (pictures, protocols, bug report, and other).
How to define required repair/maintenance activities
1. In the Repair and maintenance request document, enter the Fix before date.
2. Select the Place R&M order in the Repair approach field.
Note
You can also select the Resolve by workshop means option if the issue must be resolved by workshop workers.
3. Click the Details tab.
4. Specify a recommendation How to fix the problem.
How to forward repair/maintenance requests for evaluation and approval
1. In the Repair and maintenance request document, select the user in charge for the review, evaluation, and approval of the request in the Assign to field.
2. Set the Registered status for the document.
3. Post the document.
