Overview
This process involves initiating transfer of materials, components, and semi-finished products from the warehouse directly to production, without intermediate storage in the shop floor stockroom.
Depending on the warehouse settings, materials can be transferred to production without creating a goods issue. In this case, material transfer from the warehouse is managed by this process.
As a result of this process, goods supply directly to production is initiated, goods are moved from the warehouse.

How to initiate goods transfer from warehouse directly to production
1. Go to Manufacturing and then click Transfer of material from/to production under Shop-floor manufacturing accounting.
2. Set Pending issue/receipt in the Goods receipt/issue notes (warehouse) drop-down list.
3. Select the Production stage and click Register by goods issue/receipt.
The system will automatically create and fill a new Transfer of material to production document.

How to move goods from warehouse
1. Pick materials from the warehouse and move them to the production area.
2. Go to Manufacturing and then click Production documents (all) under Shop-floor manufacturing accounting.
3. Open the required Transfer of material to production document.
4. Set the Issued status.
5. Post the document.
