Overview
Goods received and temporarily placed in the receiving area must be moved to storage bins.
Before moving goods, it makes sense to check the current occupancy of storage bins.
Next come the generations of put-away tasks, and the assigning of storage bins to items of goods. There are put-away rules in the system, that automatically fill in the recommended storage bins for the goods. This step requires printing of tasks with detailed instructions for warehouse workers.
During the put-away process, items are physically moved into storage bins. Printing and attaching labels on goods allows you to use special devices to speed up the process by scanning goods or storage bins.
At the end, you need to confirm the goods put-away results.
But the put-away task may be partially completed for various reasons. For example, the employee was unable to physically place all items into designated storage bins.
As a result, goods are put away into the storage bins.
