Overview
Once a demand for kitting is released by sales orders, transfer orders, and a number of other material orders, it must be converted into kitting orders. It happens, when a kitting procurement strategy is included in supply schemes and assigned to product items in accordance with the internal supply policy of the enterprise.
Kitting orders are generated and populated with material requirements, including: product items, quantities, and shipment date. Kitting configurations are determined automatically.
As a result of this process, kitting orders are generated based on enterprise demand.
