Overview

After the demand for production supply is detected, the company can initiate creation of a transfer order of materials from the warehouse to the storage area of the shop floor stockroom.

The frequency of creating such orders is determined by internal instructions and depends on the production cycle duration, the stockroom size, and transportation distance.

Each line item of a transfer order usually has a link to a specific production stage. This information is important for labeling and packing components in a warehouse.

As a result of this process, a transfer order to shop floor stockroom is created.
