Overview
Seasonal indexes considered during sales forecasting are used to register seasonal fluctuations in demand for product groups.
Seasonal indexes are defined for items and business regions by seasonal groups. You need to register them manually or automatically depending on Seasonal item groups and Seasonal groups of business regions.
For additional analysis by warehouses and partners, business regions are used.
With seasonal indexes for items, sales forecast data is distributed by week or month during demand planning.
As a result of the process, seasonal indexes are maintained.
