Overview

Within the simple production scenario, it is important to regularly record production of goods and works (including those performed by the company's internal departments).

The actual consumption of resources must be specified as direct costs for production of goods and works.

As a result of this process, resource consumption for simple production is recorded.

How to review materials in production stock

1. Go to Manufacturing and then click Manufacturing reports at the top.

2. Run the Movement of materials and works at company level report.

3. Click and select the Movement of materials and works at enterprise level option.

4. Set the Period and Company.

5. Click Settings and then click the Main tab.

6. Enable the Advanced mode.

7. Add a new filter for the Item type item and select Goods in the Value.

8. Save and close the settings and Generate the report.

9. Review the items that have figures in the Received from other warehouses/business units or released column and the Closing balance column.

How to fill resource consumption for simple production

1. Go to Manufacturing and then click Production documents (all) under Shop-floor manufacturing accounting.

2. Open the Backflush production document.

3. In the Backflush production document, click the Main tab.

4. Select the Group cost option.

Note

The following cost group options are available:

  • By product BOM. It is required to specify a BOM for the product produced and fill direct costs according to it. Additionally it's required to choose an approach for cost allocation by products.
  • By product BOM and assignments. It is required to specify a BOM for the product produced and its assignment and fill direct costs according to it. Additionally it's required to choose an approach for cost allocation by products.
  • By products. It is required to specify direct costs for each product produced.
  • By products and assignments. It is required to specify direct costs for each product produced and its assignments.
  • By document. It is required to specify direct costs for the entire document and choose a cost allocation approach to define the product cost.
  • Costs are not specified. Direct costs are not required.

5. Click the Manufactured products tab.

6. Select a Bill of materials if it is required.

7. Click the Materials and work tab if available.

8. Click Fill → Add by BOM to fill lines automatically according to the BOM selected for the product.

9. Click Add and fill Items, Variant, Assignment, Quantity, Warehouse of resources actually consumed.

10. Fill the Cost business unit and Product cost element columns according to management accounting instructions.
