Overview
The process helps you understand the assumptions taken, information sources used, planning process steps followed, and accuracy achieved during the last period planning of internal independent demand. "Internal independent demand" means the total resource volume required by the enterprise's business units and departments (except for production and repair departments) to perform their functions.
During the process, you need to track final planning and actual figures, assess variances, and perform a root cause analysis. You need to optimize assumptions and bring lessons learned to upcoming planning.
As a result of the process, last period inventory consumption planning lessons are learned and shared with the upcoming planning process.

How to review last period internal consumption plans
1. Go to Budgeting and planning → Budgeting and planning reports and then click Fulfillment of the inventory consumption plan by business units under Sales and operations plans.
2. Specify the last Period and the Scenario, and then click Generate.
3. Review the figures in the Plan column.
4. Double-click the figure and then double-click Recorder (plan document).
5. Review the list of plan documents, open them and analyze.

2. Select the deviation figure to analyze.

How to review information sources and assumptions
1. Go to Budgeting and planning and then click Planning process management under Tools.
2. Specify the last Period and the Scenario.
3. Expand the folders and review all steps of the planning process.
4. Expand the steps and review the relevant plan profiles.
5. Find the plan profile with cells filled with green and open it.
6. Click the Details tab.
7. Review the notes related to the assumptions taken during the last planning period.
8. Click the Population settings tab.
9. Review the settings and information sources used for the last planning period.
