Overview
Once the goods issue process is initiated, the system documents relevant to the shipping process are created.
Goods issue document is usually created with reference to a sales order, a return of goods to vendor, a tolling order, a transfer order, a production stage.
Within the process, picking activities are initiated.
As a result, the goods shipment is started.

How to create goods issue documents
1. Go to Warehouse and delivery, then click Shipment under Warehouse management.
Note
The system shows only system documents:
- Sales order in the Pending fulfillment status and Production stage in the Queued status
- Transfer order, Return of goods to vendor, and other orders for material issue
- Item lines with the Ship action
2. Select a Warehouse.
3. Select a Shipment date.
4. Select reference documents that require delivery from the warehouse, then click Create goods issues.
6. In the Settings form, select the By selected references check box, click OK.
Note
The system will automatically:
- Create a new Goods issue document.
- Fill it with information based on a reference document.
- Set the Created status.
7. In the Goods issue from warehouse workplace, in the window below, find Goods issue document with the Created status, open it.
8. In the Goods issue document, click the Goods by references tab, then check items, quantity, and reference.
How to initiate picking
1. In the Goods issue document, set the To pick up status, and Post the document.
