Overview

This process involves creating a repair and maintenance schedule that shows sequence and dates of repair orders to fulfill so that they are completed on time.

The schedule is created to determine the exact timing of unavailability of assets and relevant work centers and minimize idle time of an asset.

To build a repair and maintenance schedule, it is necessary to assess the availability of repair capacities and necessary resources.

After the schedule is built, purchase orders for materials, services, and works are confirmed.

As a result of this process, repair and maintenance orders are scheduled.

How to review dates of component availability

1. Go to Assets management and then click R&M orders under Repair and maintenance.

2. Select the Created value in the Status filter.

3. Find an R&M order document and open it.

4. In the R&M order document, click the Materials and works tab.

5. Select all lines and click the Supply forecast hyperlink in the bottom right corner.

6. Review the Date of receipt column for all resources.

7. Click the Comment tab.

8. Review the information about additional resources.

9. Make a decision on the planning dates of the order fulfillment.

How to plan R&M order fulfillment

1. In the R&M order document, click the More tab.

2. Fill planning dates and time in the Start from / to fields.

How to plan asset idle time

1. In the R&M order document, click the Work centers idle time tab.

2. Click Fill in by RM activities.

The system will fill all the work centers related to the asset mentioned on the R&M works tab.

3. Add a new line and fill relevant Work center and Idle time interval.

How to schedule R&M orders

1. Set the Queued status.

2. Post the document.
