Overview
Within this process, you receive customer's confirmation of standard terms or sales quotes that you previously sent.
The communication history should be reviewed and verified.
You need to record in the system whether the sales opportunity succeeded or failed.
As a result of the process, the sales opportunity will be closed and transferred to contracting.

How to register customer's requests for contracting
1. Capture information related to the customer's requests for terms of sales: volumes of goods, delivery terms, prices, customer's legal entities, applicable compliance procedures, and other.
2. Go to Sales and then click Customers under Sales master data.
3. Open the required document and go to the Documents panel.
4. Find a Sales quotation that has been issued earlier and is still valid.
5. Select a line and click to create a new business interaction (an appointment, a phone call, an email, and other) based on the sales opportunity.
In the Business interactions document:
1. Specify Start date, End date, Location, and Subject.
2. On the Participants tab, in the Contact column, specify customer's representatives.
3. On the Details tab, enter the information.
4. Attach the necessary files.
How to mark sales opportunities as won
1. In the Partner document, go to the Sales opportunities panel.
2. Open a Sales opportunity and go to the General information tab.
3. Set the Won status.
4. Go to the Primary demand tab.
5. In the Fulfillment percentage column, enter 100% for lines accepted by the customer.
How to identify customer's counterparties
1. In the Partner document, go to the Counterparties panel.
2. Review the list of the customer's legal entities and find a legal entity specified as a counterparty for contracting.
How to initiate maintaining counterparties
1. In the Partner document, generate a Duty based on the document.
2. In the Duty field, specify a working name.
3. Assign the task to a responsible user within the database.
4. Set the Priority and specify a Due date.
5. In the Subject field, describe actions to take.
6. Click Start and close.

How to confirm contracting request tasks and initiate contracting
1. Go to Quick menu and then click My Tasks under Mail, tasks.
2. Open a Task related to the process step.
3. In the Results field of the Task document, describe the task deliverables or the current progress.
4. Enter the completion date
5. Click Completed.
