Overview
This process identifies sales orders that require an advance payment. The commitment to deliver products under the sales order becomes active only when the advance payment from the customer is received.
The payment request is created with reference to the confirmed sales order, and payment terms.
Then, the print form of the request is, officially, sent to the customer.
As a result of the process, the advance payment request will be sent to the customer.

How to create advance payment request
1. Go to Sales, click Sales orders under Sales management.
2. In the Current status field, select Pending payment before supply.
3. Check if any sales orders are pending an advance payment.
4. Select orders and click Generate → Commercial invoices.
In the Create commercial invoices workplace:
1. Review the information about the advance payment to request.
2. Click Create.
3. Click the Commercial invoices tab, open the document, find the sales order reference, review headers filled in automatically.
4. Click on the Payment milestone tab, review the payment terms.
5. Click on the More tab, review the contact and additional information.
How to print advance payment request and send it to customer
1. In the Commercial invoice document, click Print → Commercial invoice.
Note
You can easily customize company-specific print forms during the system implementation project.
2. In the Commercial invoice print form, check the information on the print form.
3. Save as a file, and send the advance payment request to customer.
