Overview

The process is applied only if subcontracting services are selected within a subcontracting purchase order. For more information, see how to Generate subcontracting purchase orders based on production stages.

Within this process, data on the delivered subcontracting services is provided as a part of subcontractor notification registration. In this case, this notification is an invoice.

As a result of the process, a vendor invoice is processed, and a payment process is initiated.

How to register subcontracting services

1. Go to Manufacturing and then click External subcontracting All documents under Subcontracting.

2. Open the required document.

3. In the Subcontracting services notification received document, click the More tab.

4. In the Number field, enter a vendor invoice ID and specify a date.

5. Select an Incoming document name.

6. Click the Subcontracting services tab.

7. Review the information filled automatically from the order.

8. Fill invoice data in the Items, Quantity, Unit, Price, and VAT rate columns.

9. Use the items specified in the order or the contract specification.

How to post subcontractor notifications

1. In the Subcontracting services notification received document, click Post and close.

How to place payment requests

1. In the External subcontracting All documents workplace, select the required document.

2. Click Generate and select Payment request.

The system will automatically:

  • Create a new Payment request document.
  • Fill it with data from the reference document, including the Amount and AP/AP object fields.

3. In the Payment request document, click the Main tab.

4. Fill the required fields. Pay special attention to the following items:

  • Payee account and its details
  • Payment date
  • Cash flow item
  • Amount

5. Fill the Purpose of payment automatically or manually.

6. Specify the document Priority.

7. Set the Opened status.

8. Post and close the payment request.
