Overview
This process helps you create production orders for recycling for specific tasks related to splitting the main product into components for recycling needs.
With these production orders, you can create a schedule by items and quantity, control the order execution, and manage demand for production.
When you create a production order for recycling, specify the main product to decompose into components. The BOM outlines required operations and components. Default standard BOM and route sheets are specified for each product ordered for recycling. Sometimes this data can be filled manually in production stages.
As a result of this process, a production order for recycling is created.

How to fill products for recycling
1. In the Production order document, click the Products for recycling tab.
2. Click Add and fill the Item, Variant, and Quantity columns.
3. Select a product destination Warehouse for each line.
Note
Keep in mind that you need to specify only products to recycle in orders. You do not need to specify components into which they are decomposed.
4. Enter the Earliest start date.
Note
Note that orders contain only a planned start date. You cannot specify an end date as the order forward scheduling is not supported for recycling.

2. Select the BOM column, open the Bills of materials list, and choose one option from the list.
3. Select a BOM relevant to the scenario.
Note
Note that a recycling scenario BOM normally includes one recycling stage. Several recycling stages are possible in rare cases.
If necessary, send a request to a production master data manager.
