Overview
The company creates production orders for remanufacturing for specific demand related to manufacturing of a product from its components.
The process is initiated when defects are identified in the product. The original product components are dismantled, automatically assigned to the production order, and consumed within the remanufacturing scenario.
Production orders can be used to create a schedule by items and quantity, control the order execution, and manage demand for production.
When the company creates a production order for remanufacturing, they need to specify a product to be remanufactured. The BOM outlines required operations and components. Default standard BOM and route sheets are specified for each remanufacturing product. Sometimes this data can be filled manually within production stages.
As a result of this process, a production order for remanufacturing is created.
