Overview

The customer sends the request and refers to a valid quotation.

The process starts with checking the quotation. The quotation must be valid and issued to the customer.

Sales order is created based on the quotation. The key information: customer, terms, items, and prices are transferred from the quotation to the sales order. Any changes in the transferred information usually are not allowed.

As a result, the sales order is created with a reference to the quotation.
