Overview
Here you will learn how to perform the actions necessary to register a lead in the system and how to capture primary and additional information about the contact, interest, request, and expectations to follow up with the sales opportunity.
As a result of the process, the initial contact is recorded.

How to record interaction with potential customers
1. Go to Quick menu and click Business interactions under Mail, tasks.
2. Create a new call, email, meeting, and other.
3. Capture the information about the contact person, Subject, Date and Time of the interaction.
4. Describe the interaction Details.
5. Analyze the information captured and define the follow-up activities.
How to request additional information
1. Review and follow internal instructions, policies and questionnaires to obtain the right information about a lead.
2. Communicate with the contact person and record the interaction.
3. Open the required Business interaction.
4. Create a new call, email, meeting, or other based on the document.
5. Fill in all captured information.
How to maintain contact information
Partners
1. Go to the Business interaction document and go to the Participants tab.
2. Add a new line in contacts, click Create contact, and select the Partners option.
3. In the Partner registration wizard workplace, enter the contact information.
4. Click Next.
5. Select the Access group.
6. Click Next till the end.
Contact persons
1. Go to the Business interaction document and go to the Participants tab.
2. Add new line in contacts and open the menu.
3. In the Select contact menu, go to the Partners tab.
4. Select the Partner, click Create above the Contact person section.
5. In the Contact person document, enter a full name, job title, and other personal information.
How to create sales opportunities
1. Go to Quick menu and click Business interactions under Mail, tasks.
2. Go to the Business interactions document.
3. Create a new Sales opportunity based on the document.
4. Go to the General information tab.
5. Select the Customer.
6. Fill in the working name in the Description field.
7. Set the In progress status.
8. Go to the Parties tab.
9. Add lines and specify the legal entity and contact person.
10. Add additional information in the Comment field.
11. Save the document.

How to assign responsible sales managers
1. Go to CRM and Marketing and click Sales opportunities under CRM.
2. Open the Sales opportunity document and go to the General information tab.
3. Select the Person responsible.
4. Save the document.
How to specify primary demand
1. Go to the Primary demand tab.
2. Add a new line and describe all the goods, services, and other components of the request.
3. Enter the price expectations in the Amount field.
4. Add additional information in the Comment field.
5. Post the document. The system will automatically start the business process.
6. Go to the Main tab, click Business process flowchart, and review:
- Process steps/actions flow
- Deliverables
- Persons in charge
7. Click Instructions and attach additional files with resolutions, regulations, and policies.
How to create follow-up tasks
1. Open the Sales opportunity document and go to the General information tab.
2. Select Standard sale in the Sale opportunity kind.
Note
You can select another sale opportunity kind depending on the rules established at the enterprise.
3. Post the document.
The system automatically creates Tasks in accordance with the Business process.

How to confirm recording initial contact and initiate qualification
1. Go to Quick menu and then click My Tasks under Mail, tasks. 2. Open the Task related to the process step. 3. In the Task document, describe the task deliverables or the current progress in the Results field. 4. Enter the Date of completion. 5. Click Completed.
