Overview

The corrective asset maintenance scenario defines how equipment is maintained when a defect is detected and registered, and focuses on getting the equipment to the working state in accordance with production requirements.

The corrective asset maintenance scenario is initiated when a corrective maintenance request is created. This maintenance request is evaluated and a decision is made whether to create a repair and maintenance order.

The following corrective asset maintenance options are available:

• Deferred maintenance followed by creating a repair and maintenance order. In this option, the maintenance is performed within the repair and maintenance order fulfillment.
• Immediate maintenance that is performed without creating a repair and maintenance order. The maintenance is performed immediately when the defect is detected.
